In one weekend, at the August 2019 Samoyed Association of Canada National Specialty, AND the Western Canada Samoyed Club Regional Specialty, Ziva won Best Working Dog AND Best Working Dog Veteran at BOTH Specialties! The next show her daughter, Mystique, earned her CH, making Ziva eligible for her ROMC title!

Ziva is from the fourth litter at Sershan Samoyeds, out of Bowen and Sider, was the sixth puppy born in this litter, and one of only two girls produced.

Ziva was the overall pick from this litter, and did her best to impress from the start and live up to her potential as a puppy. At her very first show, at just 6 months old, she won;

              • Best Puppy in Puppy Sweepstakes at the Edmonton Samoyed Club Specialty;
              • Best of Winners (best overall non-champion) at the same Specialty;
              • Best Puppy in Breed at the same Specialty; and
              • Best of Winners and Best Puppy at the regular show on the last day.

Ziva at 6 months. First show.

l-R:  Bowen, Ziva and Cabo

At that same Edmonton Samoyed Club Specialty, her sire, Bowen, won Best of Opposite Sex (best overall male), and her brother, Cabo, won Winners Male (best non-champion male).  It really was a family affair!

Then, not two months later, she finished her Canadian Championship with a Best of Breed!

Ziva has started her sledding and is proving to be the best of both her parents when it comes to the harness – her eagerness gets the whole team going! She is a wonderfully playful girl with LOTS of energy, and really enjoys the twins as well.
